Note 1: Besides the numeric-code shown above, some special characters have a name-code, such as: &lt; for < (less than) and &gt; for > (greater than).

Note 2: While &#32; and &#160; are both spaces, &#160; (also coded as &nbsp;) is a no-break-space - meaning content will not wrap at that point, and that you can display multiple spaces on your page.    (Although using CSS features, such as white-space: nowrap, as well as margin and padding, may be better solutions more often than not.)
